Baseball Recap: Dow Now 9-2 over Last 11 Games

While Dow put up some runs on Friday, the same can't be said for Shepherd. The Chargers walked away with a 4-0 victory over the Bluejays. The Chargers have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Bluejays, too.

Dow has been performing well recently as they've won nine of their last 11 games. That's provided a nice bump to their 12-4 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 3.3 runs on average over those games. As for Shepherd, they moved to 20-7-1 with that loss, which also ended their seven-game winning streak.

Looking ahead, Dow will square off against Bay City Western at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Shepherd, they will venture away from home to challenge Hemlock at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
