Basketball Recap: Baldwin County Wins Going Away Against Elberta

Baldwin County won the last time they faced Elberta and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Baldwin County Tigers blew past the Elberta Warriors 57-33. Given the Tigers' advantage in MaxPreps' Alabama basketball rankings (they are ranked 100th, while the Warriors are ranked 304th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Baldwin County is on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five contests, which provided a nice bump to their 8-4 record this season. As for Elberta, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 6-9.

Coincidentally, both will both be playing Foley the next time they take the court. Elberta will host Foley at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday, while Baldwin County will host them at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
