Calaveras extends home winning streak to three

Recap: Calaveras Red Hawks vs. Summerville Bears

The Calaveras Red Hawks won the last time they faced the Summerville Bears, and things went their way on Tuesday too. Calaveras walked away with a 48-39 win over Summerville. The victory made it back-to-back wins for Calaveras.

Calaveras found their leader in underclassman Ryan Clifton, who scored 16 points. Another player making a difference was Corbin Curran, who scored seven points along with six rebounds and two steals.

Calaveras' win was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 11-12. As for Summerville, they have been struggling recently, as they've lost ten of their last 12 contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 5-13 record this season.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Calaveras will take on Amador at 7:15 p.m. on Friday. Amador is coming into the contest on a three-game losing streak. As for Summerville, they will be playing at home against Bret Harte at 7:15 p.m. on Friday.
