Football Recap: Oldham-Ramona/R Comes Up Short

Oldham-Ramona/R fell victim to Castlewood and their airtight defense on Friday. They were beaten by the Warriors 50-0. The Rutland haven't had much luck with the Warriors recently, as the team has come up short the last four times they've met.

Cooper Merager threw for 33 yards on three of 11 attempts. Hyde Hanson was his top target, picking up 33 receiving yards. On the ground, Dylan Sievers rushed for 29 yards.

Oldham-Ramona/R's loss dropped their record down to 2-4. As for Castlewood, the victory was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 4-1.

Looking ahead, Oldham-Ramona/R will head out on the road to face off against Colman-Egan at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Castlewood, they will look to defend their home field on Friday against Waverly/South Shore at 7:00 p.m.
