Volleyball Game Preview: Lawrence Free State Firebirds vs. Mill Valley Jaguars + How To Watch

Lawrence Free State hasn't had much luck against Mill Valley recently, but that could start to change on Tuesday. The Firebirds are taking a road trip to challenge the Jaguars at 6:30 p.m. Both come into the match bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

On Thursday, Lawrence Free State beat Lawrence 3-1. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Firebirds.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-20, 22-25, 25-6, 25-12.

Meanwhile, Mill Valley was able to grind out a solid win over Shawnee Mission West on Saturday, taking the game 2-0.

Not only was the match a shutout, it was a big one: Mill Valley took both sets by at least ten points. The final score came out to 25-11, 25-15.

Mill Valley's victory bumped their record up to 20-4. As for Lawrence Free State, their win bumped their record up to 13-8.

Lawrence Free State skirted past Mill Valley 2-1 in their previous meeting back in September. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Firebirds since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
