Baseball Recap: Waterloo Comes Up Short

Waterloo was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their eighth straight loss. They fell 4-1 to the Belleville Wildcats. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Wildcats this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 6-4 last Tuesday.

Waterloo's record now sits at 3-13. As for Belleville, they have been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 8-11 record this season.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Waterloo will venture away from home to challenge Luther Prep at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Belleville, they will face off against Lake Mills at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.
