Basketball Recap: Melrose-Mindoro Comes Up Short

Melrose-Mindoro was the 72-53 winner over Whitehall when they last played one another back in February of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Melrose-Mindoro Mustangs received a blow on Friday as they fell 73-58 to the Whitehall Norse. The Mustangs just can't catch a break and have now endured three losses in a row.

Melrose-Mindoro's defeat dropped their record down to 2-6. As for Whitehall, they moved to 3-5 with that victory, which also ended their four-game losing streak.

Melrose-Mindoro will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against Pepin/Alma at 7:15 p.m. As for Whitehall, they will head out on the road to challenge Augusta at 7:15 p.m. on Thursday.
