Roanoke Rapids gave up the first runs on Thursday, but they didn't let that get them down. They came out on top against the Franklinton Red Rams by a score of 12-8. The Yellowjackets haven't had any issues with the Red Rams recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive win against them.

The team relied heavily on Collin Elias, who scored a run and stole a base while getting on base in four of his five plate appearances. Carson Duncan was another key player, scoring a run while getting on base in three of his five plate appearances.

Roanoke Rapids' record now sits at 6-4. As for Franklinton, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-8.
