Softball Recap: Ridgevue Warhawks vs. Borah Lions

Ridgevue had lost four straight on the road, but on Friday they dropped down to 3-7 to make it five. They lost 20-9 to the Borah Lions. The Warhawks were not able to make up for their defeat to the Lions from their previous meeting back in April of 2025.

Ainhoa Bow and Kendal Holloway did some serious damage despite the final result: Bow went 1-for-3 with two runs, one stolen base, and one double, while Holloway went 2-for-3 with three RBI and two doubles. That double marked the first that Bow has hit this season. The team also got some help courtesy of Madie Sawin, who went 2-for-4 with one run and one RBI.

As for Borah, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 10-4. They might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won six games by six runs or more this season.

On Borah's side, Reese Naylor was a standout: she went 3-for-4 with one home run, three runs, and one stolen base. Olyvia Chalifoux was another key player, getting on base in four of her five plate appearances with three stolen bases, three runs, and one RBI.
