Softball Recap: Hickory Flat Comes Up Short

After flying high against Byers on Thursday, Hickory Flat came back down to earth. The Rebels came up short against the Potts Camp Cardinals on Friday, falling 14-3. The defeat continues a trend for the Rebels in their meetings with the Cardinals: they've now lost five in a row.

Hickory Flat's loss dropped their record down to 7-12. As for Potts Camp, they have been performing well recently as they've won seven of their last nine games. That's provided a nice bump to their 11-5 record this season.

Hickory Flat will take on New Albany at 6:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Potts Camp, they will square off against Falkner at 5:30 p.m. on Monday.
