Bellevue Christian won against Chimacum last Wednesday with ten runs and they decided to stick to that run total again on Monday. The Vikings walked away with a 10-5 win over the Bellarmine Prep Lions. The Vikings' victory was nothing new given the team hasn't lost yet this season.

Luke Evenson made a splash while hitting and pitching. On the mound, he pitched two innings while giving up no earned runs off two hits. What's more, he posted two strikeouts, the most he's had since back in April of 2024. He was also big at the plate, scoring a run while getting on base in two of his four plate appearances.

In other batting news, Declan Englund was excellent, scoring two runs and stealing two bases while going 2-for-3. He is on a roll when it comes to stolen bases, as he's now snagged at least one in each of the last three games he's played. Another player making a difference was Cash Erdman, who went 1-for-3 with one triple, one stolen base, and one RBI.

Bellevue Christian always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .514. That's the best OBP they've posted all season.

Bellevue Christian's win was their fifth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 5-0. The home victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they've averaged 9.6 runs this season. As for Bellarmine Prep, their loss dropped their record down to 1-1.
