Volleyball Recap: Edgewater Comes Up Short

Edgewater lost against Boone back in March, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. The Eagles came up short against the Braves, falling 3-0.

The final score came out to 25-18, 25-20, 25-13.

Boone can attribute much of their success to Jonah Folks, who had five aces and four assists. Those five aces gave Folks a new career-high.

Edgewater's defeat dropped their record down to 2-5. As for Boone, their win ended a five-game drought at home dating back to last season and bumped them up to 2-4.

Edgewater has already played their next matchup, a 3-0 victory against Evans on the 3rd. Boone has also already played their next game (against Oak Ridge), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
