Football Recap: Flora Beats Nashville for Their Fifth Straight Victory + How To Watch

Flora had already proven themselves in the regular season and they didn't miss a beat now that it's playoff time. They skirted past the Nashville Hornets 42-39. The Wolves' offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.

Parker Helm threw for 168 yards and four TDs on only seven passes. On the ground, Kormik Massie rushed for 26 yards and one score.

Despite the loss, Nashville still got an impressive performance from Cole Stiegman, who threw for 101 yards and three touchdowns, and also rushed for 47 yards and one TD. Stiegman is becoming a predictor of the Hornets' success: when he posts at least three passing touchdowns the team is 2-1 (and 3-4 when he doesn't).

The win (which was Flora's fifth in a row) raised their record to 9-1. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 33.2 points over those games. As for Nashville, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 5-5.
