Football Recap: Fuqua Falls to Chincoteague in First Game of Season + How To Watch

Fuqua unfortunately couldn't capitalize on their home-field advantage in their season opener. They lost to the Chincoteague Ponies at home by a 21-7 margin on Friday. Sadly, the loss continues a streak the team started last season, making it eight in a row.

Camaury Davis had an outrageously good game for Chincoteague as he rushed for 145 yards and two touchdowns while picking up 7.6 yards per carry, and also picked up 45 receiving yards and one TD.

Fuqua has already played their next matchup (against Greenbrier Christian Academy), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. As for Chincoteague, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next contest, a 38-29 defeat against Broadwater Academy on the 28th.
