Soccer Recap: Clovis East Comes Up Short

Clovis East was the 1-0 winner over Roosevelt when they last played one another back in December of 2023, but their luck changed this time around. The Clovis East Timberwolves fell just short of the Roosevelt Rough Riders by a score of 2-1 on Friday. That's two games in a row now that the Timberwolves have lost by just one goal.

Their goal came courtesy of David Kabamba, who's now up to two this season.

This is the second loss in a row for Clovis East and nudges their season record down to 1-4-1. As for Roosevelt, they pushed their record up to 6-4 with the win, which was their third straight at home.

Clovis East has already played their next game, a 3-0 victory against Madera on the 27th. As for Roosevelt, they also didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next contest, a 4-0 win against Liberty on the 23rd.
