Volleyball Preview: Elgin/Pope John Wolfpack vs. Yutan Chieftains
The Elgin/Pope John Wolfpack are on the road again on Saturday to play the Yutan Chieftains at 11:00 a.m.
Last Wednesday, Elgin/Pope John didn't have quite enough to beat Crofton and fell 3-2. While the Wolfpack didn't get the win, they did start the game off strong, beating the Warriors 25-22 in the first set.
Elgin/Pope John took Crofton into a fifth set but they suffered a heartbreaking 11-point loss. The match finished with set scores of 22-25, 25-23, 25-16, 20-25, 15-4.

Meanwhile, Yutan had already won two in a row and they went ahead and made it three on Wednesday. They came out on top against the Falcons by a score of 3-1.
The final score came out to 25-21, 20-25, 25-20, 25-21.
Elgin/Pope John's defeat ended a 12-game streak of away wins and brought them to 26-5. As for Yutan, they pushed their record up to 27-1 with the victory, which was their 23rd straight at home dating back to last season.
