Basketball Recap: Bristol-Plymouth RVT Comes Up Short

Bristol-Plymouth RVT has been a dominant force so far, but they're in the middle of a mini-slump at the moment. They fell 54-46 to the Avon Panthers on Monday. The Craftsmen were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Panthers earlier this season, when they won 61-56.

Avon's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Nyisah Miranda, who dropped a double-double with 20 points and ten assists. Miranda's morning made it five games in a row in which he has scored at least 15 points. Thomas Edwards was another key player, dropping a double-double with 19 points and ten rebounds.

Bristol-Plymouth RVT's loss dropped their record down to 14-6. As for Avon, they are on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six matches, which provided a nice bump to their 13-7 record this season.

As of now, neither Bristol-Plymouth RVT nor Avon have any future games scheduled.
