Little Miami waltzed into their matchup on Wednesday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They walked away with a 6-1 victory over the Walnut Hills Eagles. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 5-2 on Monday.

Little Miami got several good pitching performances, but Nolan Hamm was perhaps the best, tossing two innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. Hamm has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't given up more than one earned run any time he's pitched this season.

At the plate, the team relied heavily on Grayer Williams, who went 1-for-2 with two runs and one stolen base.

Little Miami's record is now 12-13. As for Walnut Hills, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost 13 of their last 14 contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-19 record this season.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Little Miami will welcome Winton Woods at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Walnut Hills, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Western Hills at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.
