Basketball Recap: University Takes a Loss

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact University can now relate to. They took a 77-70 hit to the loss column at the hands of the North Central Wolfpack on Thursday. Despite running the score up even higher than they did in their prior game last Tuesday (68), the Titans still had to take the loss.

North Central's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Makai Daniels led the charge by dropping a double-double with 22 points and 13 rebounds. Daniels' evening made it four games in a row in which he has scored at least 15 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Issac Williams, who posted 18 points and four steals.

University's defeat dropped their record down to 8-14. As for North Central, they pushed their record up to 18-7 with the victory, which was their fourth straight at home.

As of now, neither University nor North Central have any future games scheduled.
