Basketball Recap: Valley Heights Takes a Loss

If Valley Heights was riding high fresh off their 65-24 takedown of Onaga last Monday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Valley Heights Mustangs fell 67-54 to the Hanover Wildcats on Thursday. The Mustangs haven't had much luck with the Wildcats recently, as the team's come up short the last four times they've met.

Valley Heights' loss dropped their record down to 9-4. As for Hanover, the win keeps them at an undefeated 10-0.

Valley Heights will challenge Linn at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Hanover has already played their next game, a 0-0 tie against Centralia on the 25th.
