Basketball Recap: Tornillo Coyotes vs. Mountain View Lobos
Tornillo was the 43-36 winner over Mountain View when they last played one another back in December of 2020, but their luck changed this time around. The Tornillo Coyotes fell 47-39 to the Mountain View Lobos on Friday. The Coyotes have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Matthew Slosar had an outrageously good game for Mountain View as he scored 14 points along with five rebounds and two steals. Slosar is crushing it when it comes to steals: he's grabbed at least two every time he's taken the court this season. Diego Gonzalez was another key player, posting seven points in addition to eight rebounds.
Tornillo now has a losing record at 1-2. As for Mountain View, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 3-3 record this season.
