They came out on top against the Hazlehurst Indians by a score of 10-5 on Monday. The win was a breath of fresh air for the Chargers as it put an end to their four-game losing streak.

Callaway's first victory this season bumped their record up to 1-4. As for Hazlehurst, their defeat was their tenth straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 0-4.

Coming up, Callaway will look to defend their home field on Friday against Forest Hill at 6:00 p.m. As for Hazlehurst, they will head out on the road to face off against Jefferson Davis County at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
