Baseball Recap: Glenn Takes a Loss

If Glenn was riding high fresh off their 10-3 takedown of Berrien Springs last Saturday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Falcons came up short against the Plymouth Pilgrims/Rockies on Monday, falling 13-5.

Mekhi Pulluaim was cooking despite his team's loss, scoring two runs while going 2-for-4. Gabe Goodsell was another key player, going 1-for-3 with one double and one RBI.

Glenn's loss dropped their record down to 1-3. As for Plymouth, their victory ended a ten-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 3-3.

Coming up, Glenn will be playing at home against Bremen at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Plymouth, they will venture away from home to take on Rochester at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Zebras will roll in looking for their seventh straight win, something the Pilgrims/Rockies surely won't give up without a fight.
