Volleyball Game Preview: Reavis Rams vs. Shepard Astros

Reavis is a perfect 7-0 against Shepard since May of 2021 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Tuesday. The Rams will head out on the road to challenge the Astros at 4:30 p.m. Each of these teams will be fighting to keep a win streak alive as Reavis comes in on four and Shepard on 13.

On Thursday, Reavis was able to grind out a solid victory over Hillcrest, taking the game 2-0.

Not only was the match a shutout, it was a big one: Reavis took both sets by at least 11 points. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-10, 25-14.

Meanwhile, Shepard posted their closest win since March 28th on Thursday. They won by a set and slipped past Argo 2-1.

If you add up the scores from across all three sets (67-65) Shepard actually scored fewer points, but in the end it didn't matter. The final score came out to 25-21, 15-25, 25-21.

Reavis' victory bumped their record up to 12-6. As for Shepard, their win bumped their record up to 19-3.

Reavis was able to grind out a solid victory over Shepard when the teams last played back in April of 2025, winning 2-0. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Rams since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
