The Desert Sunrise Golden Hawks are taking a road trip to square off against the Sierra Linda Bulldogs at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Keep an eye on the score for this one: the two teams posted some lofty point totals in their previous games.

Desert Sunrise is headed into the contest after thoroughly thrashing La Joya Community: they outscored them in every quarter. Given that consistent dominance, it should come as no surprise that the Golden Hawks blew the Fighting Lobos out of the water with a 53-13 final score. That 40 point margin sets a new team best for the Golden Hawks this season.

Trae Walker was a one-man wrecking crew as he rushed for 42 yards and three TDs, and also threw for 228 yards and three touchdowns on perfect 7-for-7 passing.
