Basketball Recap: Cabrillo Finds Home Court Redemption Against Paso Robles

There's no place like home for Cabrillo, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Friday. They took down the Paso Robles Bearcats 41-27 on Tuesday. The Conquistadores haven't had any issues with the Bearcats recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive victory against them.

Among those leading the charge was Sophia Austin, who posted 17 points and six rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Jasmyn Hughes, who had nine points and six boards.

Cabrillo smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 24 offensive rebounds. That's the most offensive boards they've posted since back in December of 2024.

Cabrillo's win bumped their record up to 18-7. As for Paso Robles, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost ten of their last 13 contests, which has put a noticeable dent in their 10-15 record this season.

As of now, neither Cabrillo nor Paso Robles have any future games scheduled.
