Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Ogemaw Heights). They claimed a resounding 70-28 win over the Bullock Creek Lancers. The final result isn't all that surprising considering the Falcons' considerable advantage in MaxPreps' Michigan football rankings (they are ranked 61st, while the Lancers are ranked 238th).

The victory was the fourth in a row for Ogemaw Heights, bringing their record up to 5-1. Those wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 52.3 points over those games. As for Bullock Creek, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 3-3.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming contests. Ogemaw Heights will take on Standish-Sterling at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Falcons will be up against the Panthers' rather soft defense (which has allowed 34.33 points per game), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance. As for Bullock Creek, they will square off against Gladwin at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
