Soccer Recap: Central Comes Up Short

The Central Cobras came up short against the Cocoa Beach Minutemen on Friday, falling 8-1. That's two games in a row now that Central have lost by exactly seven goals.

Central has been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 2-4-1 record this season. As for Cocoa Beach, the win was their first on the road , bumping their record up to 2-6-1.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Central will face off against Somerset College Prep Academy at 3:30 p.m. on Monday. Somerset College Prep Academy will roll in looking for their fifth straight victory, something Central surely won't give up without a fight. As for Cocoa Beach, they will take on Astronaut in a tournament on Tuesday.
