Basketball Recap: Westbrook piles up the points against Highland

Make it nine blowout wins for the Westbrook Wildcats this season. They simply couldn't be stopped on Tuesday as they easily beat Highland 67-18 at home. Winning may never get old, but Westbrook sure is getting used to it with their sixth in a row.

Parker Matlock had a dynamite game for Westbrook, scoring 19 points. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Matlock has scored all season. The team also got some help courtesy of Keegan Gilbreath, who scored 14 points along with three steals.

Westbrook's victory bumped their record up to 10-4. As for Highland, they have been struggling recently as they've lost six of their last seven games, which put a noticeable dent in their 7-16 record this season.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Westbrook will challenge the Eagles at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Highland, they will head out on the road to take on the Cardinals at 8:00 p.m. on Friday.
