Basketball Recap: Nazareth Prep Gets the Win

Aquinas Academy came into Tuesday's match looking for another win against Nazareth Prep, but Will Evans Jr wouldn't allow it. The Nazareth Prep Saints came out on top against the Aquinas Academy Crusaders by a score of 87-80 on Tuesday thanks in part to Evans Jr, who dropped a double-double on 35 points and ten rebounds. The game was his fifth in a row with at least ten points.

Leon Harrison Jr. was another key player, going 6 for 15 en route to 20 points along with six assists and five boards. He has been hot, having also posted two or more steals the last five times he's played.

Nazareth Prep's record is now 10-3. As for Aquinas Academy, they moved to 11-2 with that loss, which also ended their 11-game winning streak.

Nazareth Prep wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 61-58 defeat against Serra Catholic on the 17th. As for Aquinas Academy, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 72-53 victory against St. Joseph on the 17th.
