Soccer Recap: Wayne County vs. Neshoba Central
Wayne County lost against Neshoba Central back in December of 2016, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Wayne County War Eagles lost 7-0 to the Neshoba Central Rockets. The War Eagles have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Wayne County's defeat dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Neshoba Central, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 5-1-1.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Wayne County will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Loyd Star at 5:30 p.m. on December 5th. As for Neshoba Central, they will be staying on the road on Thursday to face off against New Hope at 5:30 p.m. Neshoba Central knows how to get goals on the board -- the squad has finished with four goals or more in their past three games -- so hopefully New Hope likes a good challenge.
