Corydon Central's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was T-Mac Wilkinson, who went 7 for 11 en route to 18 points plus eight rebounds and three steals. What's more, Wilkinson also posted a 64% field goal percentage, which is the highest he's posted since back in December of 2023. Jack Fessel was another key player, going 7 for 13 en route to 17 points plus four steals.
Corydon Central was working as a unit and finished the game with 20 assists. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Lanesville only racked up eight.
Meanwhile, North Harrison took care of business in their home opener on Tuesday (barely). They escaped with a win against South Central by the margin of a single free throw, 54-53. The win was a breath of fresh air for the Cougars as it put an end to their five-game losing streak dating back to last season.
