Soccer Recap: Middleburgh Takes a Loss

Middleburgh lost against Loudonville Christian back in September of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Knights fell 3-1 to the Eagles. While losing is never fun, Middleburgh can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' New York soccer rankings (they are ranked 267th, while Loudonville Christian are ranked 108th).

Middleburgh now has a losing record of 4-5-3. As for Loudonville Christian, they pushed their record up to 9-2 with the victory, which was their third straight on the road.

Coming up, Middleburgh will venture away from home to square off against Johnstown at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Loudonville Christian, they will welcome Mekeel Christian Academy at 4:15 p.m. on Tuesday.
