Connally's game last Tuesday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Friday. While the 1-1 score might suggest a draw, it was the Connally Cadets who were credited with the win. The Connally Cadets got it done in the shootout by posting four goals to the Meyer Ravens's two. This was a revenge game for the Cadets: when they faced off against the Ravens back in January, they had to take a 2-0 defeat.

Connally's one-goal win came courtesy of Bryan Bazaldua, which was the first he's scored this season.

Connally's victory bumped their record up to 3-9. As for Meyer, they have been struggling recently as they've lost five of their last six games, which has put a noticeable dent in their 3-10 record this season.

Looking ahead, Connally will square off against La Vega at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Connally's offense has struggled lately (the team hasn't scored more than a single goal for 13 straight games), a trend the team is no doubt ready to end. As for Meyer, they will face off against Marlin at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
