While West Cabarrus didn't have the best season last year (they finished 6-13), it's starting to look like those struggles are a thing of the past. They were the clear victor by a 4-1 margin over the Gray Stone Day Knights on Thursday. That looming 4-1 mark stands out as the most commanding margin for the Wolverines yet this season.

They hit Gray Stone Day with a four-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Hannah Hibbert, Lila Shortel, Abigail Kuhns, and Mckinley Smith.

West Cabarrus' win bumped their record up to 4-1. As for Gray Stone Day, they now have a losing record of 2-3.
