Softball Recap: Cameron County Comes Up Short on the Road Against Port Allegany

Cameron County kicked off their season on the road on Thursday and hit a couple of potholes. They came up short against the Port Allegany Gators, falling 15-0. The Raiders were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Gators apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in May of 2024.

The victory made it two in a row for Port Allegany and bumps their season record up to 8-5.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Cameron County will face off against rival Northern Potter at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Meanwhile, Port Allegany is set to take on their familiar foe Galeton at 4:30 p.m. on Friday.
