Baseball Recap: Plainwell Comes Up Short

Saturday just wasn't the day for Plainwell's offense. They came up short against the Catholic Central Cougars on Saturday, falling 10-0. Having soared to a lofty 14 runs in the game before, the Trojans' shutout was a dramatic turnaround.

Plainwell dropped their record down to 6-7 with the defeat, which was their eighth straight on the road dating back to last season. As for Catholic Central, they now have a winning record of 8-7.

Coming up, Plainwell will venture away from home to take on Sturgis at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Catholic Central, they will face off against Forest Hills Central at 4:15 p.m. on Monday.
