Soccer Recap: South Gate Victorious

South Gate won the last time they faced Narbonne and things went their way on Friday too. The South Gate Rams won by a goal and slipped past the Narbonne Gauchos 2-1. Alexis Lopez had the honor of scoring the game-winner for the Rams.

South Gate is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matches, which provided a nice bump to their 7-4-2 record this season. As for Narbonne, their loss dropped their record down to 6-3-2.

South Gate didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next game, a 0-0 defeat against Lakewood on the 28th. As for Narbonne, they will challenge Mendez at 4:00 p.m. on January 6th. Mendez is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 4.1 goals per game this season.
