Softball Recap: Central Dragons vs. Everett Warriors
Central lost against Everett back in May of 2021, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Central Dragons lost 14-5 to the Everett Warriors. Central has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Aubrey Rhodes made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and scored two runs while going 1-for-3. Another player making a difference was Bralyn Ellis, who scored a run while going 2-for-4.
Central now has a losing record at 7-8. As for Everett, the win (which was their sixth in a row) raised their record to 14-2.
Central will head out on the road to face off against Bellwood-Antis at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. Central is facing Bellwood-Antis at the right time seeing as Bellwood-Antis is stuck on a four-game losing streak. As for Everett, they will look to defend their home field on Tuesday against Forbes Road at 4:30 p.m. Everett will be looking to keep their 23-game home win streak dating back to last season alive.
