Football Recap: Ramapo's Winning Streak Snapped at Four Games

After a string of four wins, Ramapo's good fortune finally ran out on Thursday. They fell 29-22 to the Suffern Mounties. The Gryphons were not able to make up for their defeat to the Mounties from their previous meeting back in September of 2019.

Despite the loss, Ramapo saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Nahum Pierre rushed for 117 yards and one touchdown, and also threw for 23 yards and one TD. Pierre's rushing production has been exceptional as that marked his eighth straight game with at least 106 rushing yards.

Ramapo now has a losing record of 4-5. As for Suffern, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 2-8.

As of now, neither Ramapo nor the Mounties have any future games scheduled.
