Basketball Recap: Lisbon Comes Up Short

Lisbon was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their 12th straight defeat. They took a blow against the Kindred Vikings, falling 68-26. The Broncos were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 45-15.

Lisbon lost despite a true team effort on offense. The best among them was Ryatt Wertman, who posted ten points. She is also on a roll when it comes to steals, as she's now grabbed two or more in each of the last three games she's played.

Lisbon's loss dropped their record down to 2-17. As for Kindred, they are on a roll lately: they've won 12 of their last 13 games, which provided a nice bump to their 16-4 record this season.

Looking ahead, Lisbon will face off against Thompson at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Kindred, they will take on Wahpeton at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Each of these teams will be battling to keep a four-game winning streak alive.
