Softball Recap: Tupelo Takes a Loss

Tupelo lost against Clinton last Thursday, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Golden Wave came up short against the Arrows, falling 14-4. The Golden Wave have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Leah Stribling made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and went 1-for-2 with one home run and one stolen base.

Tupelo's loss dropped their record down to 8-10. As for Clinton, the victory was the sixth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 16-11.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Tupelo will face off against North Pontotoc at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Vikings will roll in looking for their sixth straight win, something the Golden Wave surely won't give up without a fight. As for Clinton, they will look to defend their home field on Thursday against Warren Central at 6:30 p.m.
