Basketball Game Preview: Capital Cougars vs. Mount Tahoma T-Birds

Capital is on a six-game streak of home losses, Mount Tahoma a nine-game streak of away losses dating back to last season, but someone's luck will change on Friday. The Capital Cougars will host the Mount Tahoma T-Birds at 7:00 p.m. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

Capital lost 62-39 to Silas on Wednesday. While losing is never fun, the Cougars can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Washington basketball rankings (they are ranked 274th, while the Rams are ranked 85th).

Meanwhile, Mount Tahoma came up short against Timberline on Wednesday and fell 71-63. Despite running the score up even higher than they did in their prior game on Friday (61), the T-Birds still had to take the loss.

Mount Tahoma's loss dropped their record down to 6-8. As for Capital, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-11.
