Softball Recap: Naples Takes a Loss

Naples fell victim to North Fort Myers and their airtight pitching crew on Friday. They lost 14-0 to the Red Knights. The defeat continues a trend for the Golden Eagles in their meetings with the Red Knights: they've now lost six in a row.

Naples' loss dropped their record down to 3-13. As for North Fort Myers, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 12-5.

Naples has already played their next match, a 7-3 victory against Cypress Lake on the 12th. As for North Fort Myers, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, a 9-5 defeat against Somerset Academy (Silver Palms) on the 11th.
