Mercer County put another one in the bag on Tuesday to keep their perfect season alive. Everything went their way against the Bushnell-Prairie City Spartans as they made off with a 27-2 win. Considering the Golden Eagles have won five contests by more than five runs this season, Tuesday's blowout was nothing new.
Natalie Thomson and Jayden Weeks did most of the damage at the plate: Thomson went 4-for-5 with one home run, six RBI, and four runs, while Weeks went 4-for-5 with one home run, six RBI, and three runs.
