After losing to Randleman the last time they met, Uwharrie Charter Academy decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. The Uwharrie Charter Academy Eagles managed a 62-57 win over the Randleman Tigers on Tuesday. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Eagles.

Uwharrie Charter Academy's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Aaron Smith, who dropped a double-double on 22 points and 11 rebounds. The dominant performance gave Smith a new career-high in points. Braeden Lamb was another key player, going 6 of 10 on his way to 18 points.

Uwharrie Charter Academy smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 11 offensive boards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least eight offensive rebounds in seven consecutive contests.
