Basketball Recap: Grace Hahn and Charis Hughes Secure Win for Concordia

There's no place like home for Concordia, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Monday. They walked away with a 32-20 victory over the Lincoln Lutheran Warriors on Thursday. That's the third time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 56-22 back in January.

Leading Concordia to victory were Charis Hughes and Grace Hahn. Hughes posted seven points and 13 boards, while Hahn put up 11 points. That's the most points Hahn has posted since back in February of 2024. Another player making a difference was Grace Samuelson, who scored four points and ten rebounds.

Concordia smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 15 offensive rebounds. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least 15 offensive boards in three consecutive contests.

Concordia's win bumped their record up to 7-10. As for Lincoln Lutheran, they are on a 12-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-18.

Concordia has already played their next match, a 47-28 loss against Archbishop Bergan on the 4th. As for Lincoln Lutheran, they will take on St. Cecilia at 3:15 p.m. on February 8th.
