 The Jupiter Christian Eagles had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 2 points), and they went ahead and made it three on Thursday. They came out on top in a nail-biter against Somerset College Prep Academy  and snuck past  77-75. Having run the score up that high, both teams probably have some extra defensive drills coming up.
  Conner Hoffman continued  his habit of posting crazy stat lines,  scoring 41 points along with eight  rebounds and two  steals. As a matter of fact, that's the most points  he has scored all season. The team also got some help courtesy of  Ryan Deaver, who  scored 13 points.
 Jupiter Christian's win was  their fifth straight at home, which  pushed their record up to 8-9. Those victories were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 63.8 points per game. As for Somerset College Prep Academy, they have  been struggling recently, as they've  lost six of their last seven matches,  which put a noticeable dent in their 6-14 record this season.
 Both  teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Jupiter Christian the luxury  of staying home another  game and will welcome Benjamin at 7:30  p.m.  on January 29th. Benjamin and Jupiter Christian are at an even 5-5 over their past ten head-to-heads. As for Somerset College Prep Academy, they won't have much time to rest: their next  matchup is against Sports Leadership & Management at 6:30  p.m.  on January 26th. Sports Leadership & Management is coming into the  contest on a six-game losing streak.
