Basketball Recap: Boyd County Takes a Loss

Boyd County was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They lost 87-66 to the Bryan Station Defenders. While losing is never fun, the Lions can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Kentucky basketball rankings (they are ranked 85th, while the Defenders are ranked sixth).

Boyd County's defeat dropped their record down to 4-6. As for Bryan Station, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 9-1.

Boyd County didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 92-85 victory against Lyon County on the 28th. As for Bryan Station, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 60-52 win against Lexington Catholic on the 28th.
