Football Recap: Twelve Bridges' Rushing Attack Does It Again + How To Watch

Twelve Bridges won the last time they faced Reed and things went their way on Friday too. The Raging Rhinos took down the Raiders 45-31. The victory was all the more spectacular given the Raging Rhinos' disadvantage in MaxPreps' football rankings in their respective home states (they are ranked 128th in California, while the Raiders are ranked tenth in Nevada).

Twelve Bridges' win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Connor Frontiera, who threw for 254 yards and one TD, and also punched in one touchdown on the ground. The dominant performance also gave Frontiera a new career-high in rushing yards (20). Bradley Kirby was in the mix too, providing Twelve Bridges with two scores.

Twelve Bridges was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 319 rushing yards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now rushed for at least 205 rushing yards in 17 consecutive contests dating back to last season.

Despite the loss, Reed still got an impressive performance from Bronwyn Rios, who rushed for 102 yards and a pair of touchdowns, and also picked up 37 receiving yards and one TD. Rios showed off some serious burst, turning on the afterburners on one carry for 50 yards. Daxon Dayton was another key player, throwing for 267 yards and one touchdown.

Twelve Bridges pushed their record up to 2-0 with the victory, which was their seventh straight at home dating back to last season.

Coming up, Twelve Bridges will take on Whitney at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Reed, they will challenge McQueen at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
